Kangaroo Island.

Just a week ago, we visited Kangaroo island. We went with another family, the Schoenis. They have two children. One is my age, 10, and the other is 8. On the first day there we went to see some seals. They were so cute! We saw lots of pups with their mothers. After the seals we went to a sand dune. Maddie, (the oldest child), Sophie (the youngest child) and I went and climbed the neighboring sand dune. We slid down it on our stomachs a couple times, that was really fun. It was really amazing that those huge things where purely sand, they where really high too. Then we saw a man feed a bunch of pelicans. The pelicans were huge! There were some seagulls around . Some landed on the mans head! Some pelicans flew and tried to land in the tub of fish, the man caught them in the air! After that we drove to our cottage for the night.

The next day we drove to a rocky bay place. There were tons of really cool rocks and shells. I found some really awesome shells. After having a look at the rocks we headed off to the remarkable rocks. They were really cool. We climbed up a couple. They were so cool because they were in all different shapes. I was really astonished at their sizes too. After that we went to admirals arch. There was a seal look out there. We saw lots of seals in the water and snoozing away on the rocks. I have really come to adore seals by now. There was also an arch of rocks. There were some seals under there too. We got to get really close to those. Then we started back for home.

The next day was our last day. First we visited a lavender farm. It smelled really good. Then we went to a eucalyptus farm. There they made
eucalyptus oil from eucalyptus trees. Eucalyptus oil smells terrible, but its extremely useful. It takes off sap and labels on jars, even though it can be poisonous if you eat it. After that we visited a honey farm. The honey on kangaroo island is supposed to be special because the bees are different. We had some samples, I didn't think it tasted different. We also got to see a bee's nest. That was very cool. After that it was time to go and catch the ferry back. It had been a unbelievable time!
